How Cristo Rey Network Is Making a Difference
The Cristo Rey Network delivers a career-focused, college-preparatory education to 13,000 students with limited economic resources in 41 schools that uniquely integrate rigorous academics with four years of professional work experience and support through college.
Work of Cristo Rey Network
- Operates small Catholic high schools in urban areas, serving students from families of limited means.
- Uses a corporate work-study program to give every student professional work experience while enrolled.
- Partners with businesses, schools and communities to build pathways for students from high school through college and into careers.
- Provides intensive academic support and professional development to ensure students are college-ready and work-ready.
- Expands access by replicating the model in new locations nationwide, maintaining fidelity through mission effectiveness standards.
