Work of Frontier Housing, Now Next Step
- Builds energy-efficient, affordable homes working with families who may be turned down by mainstream lenders.
- Offers low-interest home loans and down-payment assistance to help people secure homeownership despite credit or income barriers.
- Provides free financial coaching and credit-building services to help prospective homeowners improve their readiness and maintain homeownership.
- Conducts home-repair, rehabilitation and weatherization programs (including HVAC, accessibility upgrades, energy efficiency) for low-income homeowners and renters.
- Manages rental housing and transitional options for individuals or families working toward ownership, including training and support services.
