myAgro moves smallholder farmers in West Africa out of poverty by increasing their incomes and resilience with improved logistics and agricultural methods.

Work of myAgro

  • Offers a mobile lay-away payments platform, enabling farmers to save for seed, fertilizer and training.
  • Partners with local village stores as sales and distribution networks for farming inputs.
  • Delivers high-quality seeds, fertilizer and agronomic training timed for planting seasons.
  • Builds climate resilience and sustainable agricultural practices among smallholder farmers.
  • Scales operations across multiple countries in West Africa, targeting 1 million farmers.

Initiatives Supported by Project Redwood

2016:  $25,000 to provide agents with mobile phones and a customized application for payments.

2017:  $25,000 to expand into Senegal.
