How Kijani Farm Is Making a Difference

Kijani Farm operates in southern Kenya where it seeks to inspire hope and create opportunity for the rural Maasai communities who have long been denied basic resources necessary for healthy living and economic stability.

Kijani Farm programs seek to raise the living standards for the Maasai by addressing the structural drivers of poverty. It invests in building a comprehensive, sustainable infrastructure.

Initiatives Supported by Project Redwood

2026: $30,000 to plant a five-acre tree farm, immediately providing employment for farm workers. As the trees mature, they will become a revenue-generating resource, used to make charcoal, animal food, and fence poles. Ultimately, the trees will be harvested for timber.
