How Silverleaf Academy Is Making a Difference
Silverleaf Academy believes that quality education can break a cycle of poverty; its mission is to provide a new, accessible school system that offers affordable schooling for low-income families. Its unique model focuses on mastery of traditional academic subjects while also addressing students’ social and emotional learning needs. Instruction is in English, and hands-on use of technology prepares students for success in a sophisticated, global marketplace.Â

Initiatives Supported by Project Redwood
2026:Â $30,000 to support the development of an affordable, community-based childcare and early development center (combining childcare, structured early learning, and nutritional programming). In the first year, the program will serve 120 children. Once proven successful, the center will be replicated widely.
