How Zambian Children's Fund Made a Difference

The Zambian Children’s Fund established and supported the Chishawasha Children’s Home in Lusaka, Zambia, to house and educate children orphaned by AIDS.

Work of Zambian Children's Fund

  • Nurtured up to 500 orphans with housing, clothing, nutrition, and education.
  • Provided hands-on training in carpentry, poultry production, tailoring, fabric printing and electronic repair.
  • No longer active.

Initiatives Supported by Project Redwood

2007:  $24,000 to provide equipment and supplies to the Chishawasha crafts and agricultural center to enable development of products for market.
