How Resonate Workshops Is Making a Difference
Resonate Workshops unlocks the leadership potential of East African women and girls by partnering with organizations that provide vocational and other hard-skills training. Resonate integrates its leadership-building workshops into those programs to ensure that women and girls have self-confidence as well as access to skills and resources that will allow them to realize their full potential.
Work of Resonate Workshops
- Offers a core workshop, Storytelling for Leadership, that helps women and girls speak up, gain confidence, and make decisions.
- Works with young people in 12-week sessions to help them gain experience by developing and implementing community projects.
- Intensely trains staff from partner organizations to deliver and facilitate Resonate’s program content effectively.
Initiatives Supported by Project Redwood
2024: $40,000 to expand a partnership with the National Women’s Council in Rwanda to equip women street vendors with financial and leadership skills, and increase incomes.
